Together they sit somewhat bewildered by the world in front of them, by the news, the busy pace of passersby, and how invisible they have become to everyone around them.
Over the years they have forged an abiding though cantankerous companionship and in the twilight of their lives they find themselves more intertwined than either had imagined.
